The Joburg City Theatres (JCT) is an entity of the City of Johannesburg that operates Joburg Theatre (Braamontein), Roodepoort Theatre
and Soweto Theatres in order to provide the integrated management of world class theatre venues and a high quality entertaining, innovative
and inclusive programme which serves diverse communities.

Salary Range: R22 993 05 (Basic Salary excluding benefits)
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited
Input on Sage payroll system all relevant information for employees to be paid, i.e. Personal information , banking details, salary, overtime
relevant deductions PAYE, UIF, SDL, Medical aid etc., as per contract of employment and personal information sheet • Obtain additional
information for payroll from HOD's • Process Sage 300 payroll reports • Process weekly, monthly and show payrolls as required meet
deadlines • Pay employees via medical aid, pension fund, garnishee • Prepare PAYE EMP 201 pay and submit to SARS via E - filling •
Prepare annual bonus and salary increase schedule for CFO to approve for both permanent and temporary staff • Update payroll files and
filling all relevant correspondence • File all 300 Sage information in payroll files and third parties files • Print Sage 300 reports for Bookkeeper
• Prepare integration journal between Sage 300 and accounting system (sage evolution) • Extract ERS overtime reports from the system
into Sage 300 overtime • Print and issue staff with payslips • Provide HR with the salary schedule for the purpose of employee claims (i.e
UIF, pension, WCA etc.) • Ensure compliance, accuracy and meet deadlines • Attend to familiarities on resignations, Retirement and death
of employees • Attend to new application and queries • Laisse with medical aid administrator • Check printouts for subscription payments
and amend records where necessary with medical aid administrator • Attend to monthly overtime returns • Ensure variance report for two
months are reconciled appropriately • Ensure that summary papyruns agrees to the bank transfers interim of the net salary • Ensure
PAYE,IF and SDL, returns are submitted on time to SARS to ensure that there are no penalties interest charged to the entity • Ensure
that audit request are submitted to the auditors within turnaround times • Attend payroll meetings, medical aid, COIDA, pension , insurance
and when Finance and HR Manager required the meeting to be attended.
Appointment Requirements:
Diploma (NQF 6) Human Resources Management or Business Management • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Payroll processes,
Human Resources and Finance systems • Knowiedge of Sage 300 payroll • Good verbal and written communication in English • Computer
literacy.
