Customer Care Utilities Representative
Customer Care / Utility Representative that has background or knowledge in Utilities.
This position is suited for a career-oriented applicant with the required skills, stable, honest, service delivery oriented and dedicated to the customer care profession, loving diversity and looking for advancement.
The following knowledge and skills are a non negotiable requirement for this position:
- Must have a successful track record in customer satisfaction within similar environment
- Customer-oriented with a minimum of 3 to 5 years customers experience in utilities (dealing with utilities at real estate companies, metering department/s, etc.)
- Bilingual English and Afrikaans is a must (speak, read, write)
- Computer literate, keen to learn new software programs preferably with knowledge of a CRM and or ERP system
- Excellent written and oral communications
- Relationship building skills both external & internal
- Ability to explain and guide customer over the phone on software systems
- Ability to work under pressure and overtime when necessary
- Proven experience in managing workload and prioritise tasks independently
- High level of integrity, professionalism and trustworthiness
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to understand and reconcile utility accounts
- Work experience and ability to work under tight deadlines and stressful environments
- Understanding of: electricity and water billing, tariffs, etc advantageous
- Excellent English written and verbal communications
- High level of numerical accuracy and detail orientation
- High computer proficiency (e.g. advanced excel, worked with specialized software)
- Must have a clear criminal and credit record
- Must have own transport
- Must be SA Citizen
- Able to work overtime occasionally, if required
- Able to work on a stand-by basis as needed

Technology requirements for remote work:
You are required to have your own equipment (computer, data, WIFI etc. ) to be able to work remotely. The company does not provide this, nor does the company pay for data or connectivity.
Minimum technology requirements are:
- Quad core or I5 (from 5th gen)
- 8 GIGs of memory
- Preferably a video card with min 2GB of memory
- Headset and microphone with noise cancellation.
- Webcam that supports 720p
- Standard keyboard and mouse
- 19" monitor
- At least a 20MB download and 10MB upload reliable internet connection
