What will you do: * Sell Contract Renewals for our instruments * Sell Out of Warranty contracts for our instruments * Up-sell to existing contract customers * Generating new business from non-contract customers * Sell Single Point Services and Instrument upgrades * Execute on Planned Promotions * Promote and Sell a Portfolio of New Services (Training Courses, Bioinformatics Services Compliance Services) * Work with our distribution partners to sell services and support. * Work directly with CDC labs in Africa to assist with COVID-19 research and prevention. * Work together with other Sales reps to optimise the sales of contracts, upgrades and new business in Africa. * Gather competitor information to share with colleagues and discuss customer workflows and relate customer’s work to potential services the customer may need to be successful.
- Develop and maintains detailed customer/prospect records and ensures that the relevant sales tools reflect this information (e.g Sales Forecast & Territory Plan). * Keep all sales tools up to date and accurate to reflect the current sales situation. * Accurately forecast future business on a regular basis, or at the request of the Sales Manager. * Start negotiations early by planning activities well ahead and involve relevant colleagues.
- Make best use of sales tools to aid territory planning and ensure that all necessary resources are used in order to close sales in favour of the company.
