The Warehouse Manager (WM) will report to the Sales & Marketing Executive, forming part of the Supply Chain team in an established manufacturing company.
The key responsibilities of the WM will be to administer & execute; cost effective international & local procurement process; accurate systems efficiencies within a timeous manner; quality and quantity control of all goods received; stock count cycles for the various business activities; company procedures; production coordination; review procedures; manage daily operations; monthly expense feedback.
Provide support to the Sales & Marketing Executive & Team.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
Core Objectives- Primary
  • To administer & execute both inward and outward stock movement whilst maintaining accuracy and integrity of the store/s inventory. (SYSPRO)
  • To develop, evaluate and maintain a professional relationship with third party carriers, courier companies, freight forwarders, suppliers and the company's Internal departments, ensuring our reputation and values are portrayed
  • To maintain the accuracy of the MSL (Material Shortage List) & MRP (Material Requirement Program) & expected ETA’s in warehouse
  • Evaluate obsolete stock and manage the transition to the new products
  • Ensure all delivery of all outward goods are executed timeously
  • Process claims where required on faulty goods, late deliveries, and short deliveries. (Notify Supply Chain Manager immediately on any shortages or damages)
  • Execute all cycle counts & Year End/audited stock counts of all warehouses
  • Daily, Weekly & Monthly performance reporting (financial & operational)
  • Administer the reversed logistics of the company & supplier products
  • Keep office, workspace, fixtures, and fittings organised and tidy
  • Comply with the company's Health, Safety and Environmental rules and requirements applicable to your appointment and work environment.

  • Keep office, workspace, fixtures, and fittings organised and tidy
  • Ensure all relevant documentation are up to date & closed off for month end
  • Ensuring outgoing shipments are in good condition and meet specifications
  • Arrange distribution of goods received
  • Allocate goods received to correct storage areas
  • Organise the despatch of goods with completed documentation
  • Maintaining prescribed records of goods received and despatched
  • Examining shipping documents, generate costings and verifying cargo to be released
  • Receiving details of outgoing stock, and arranging bookings of freight space
  • Assist with adhoc requests and projects
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Matric or Equivalent Qualification
  • Supply Chain Certification an advantage
  • 8 years related working experience
  • 5 years SYSPRO or ERP working experience
  • 2 years Management Accounting experience
  • Proven Management of Complex staff structure
  • Microsoft Office Proficient (will be tested)
