Purpose of the Job

A brand new opportunity exists for a Pharmacy Sales Assistant at Medirite New Market. The purpose of this role is to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service through: selling, restocking and merchandising of healthcare products. The ideal candidate should be able to engage with customers, ensure sales growth and be able to perform cashier duties.

Job Objectives

1. Stock control Check invoices Assist with stock takes Return stock to suppliers according to company policies Monitor expiry dates 3. Administration Compile Reports Perform cash and cash-up procedures 4. Housekeeping Maintain visual merchandising standards Ensure a clean and hygienic store 5. Maintain excellent customer relations Be knowledgeable with regard to products Advise customers on products and prices Deal with customer complaints Assist with pick up points 6. Ensure sales growth and express cashier duties Ensure that you maintain excellent product knowledge Sell products to customers Be on top of the latest trends in the Healthcare industry Liaise with reps about new products Operate on a till

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 Qualification

Experience

• At least 1 years' sales experience in a retail environment • Administrative experience will be an advantage

Knowledge and Skills

• Healthcare product knowledge an added advantage • Computer literacy –MS Office skills & G-Suite • Solid communication and interpersonal skills • Bilingual, preferably fluent in English and Afrikaans • Excellent numeric and administrative skills
