Minimum requirements for the role:
- Relevant Tertiary degree or Diploma in IT or a MCSE or equivalent Technical qualification is pref.
- Previous experience having worked within an IT Supervisory or Management role is essential.
- Qualification in Project Management (PMBOK, PRINCE II, AGILE) and a CCNA or equivalent extremely is advantageous.
- Proven track record of both theoretical and practical aspects of IT Infrastructure Management is essential.
- ITIL certification with solid experience in managing an ITIL Aligned Service Desk is pref.
- Extensive experience with IT Infrastructure and the MS Technology Stack e.g. MS Servers, SQL, WSUS, SCCM, SCOM, Office365, AD, Servers, Switches, Firewalls etc is pref.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Reporting, SQL Server and Testing is pref.
- Knowledge of IT disciplines, e.g., Networking, Software Applications and Interfaces, Production Operations, Quality Assurance and Systems Management, etc. Is essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintaining the companys effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering and supporting strategic plans for implementing IT Systems and solutions that are currently on SAP Business One.
- Managing, driving and completing projects by coordinating resources and timetables with users and various Departments.
- Developing Business Information Dashboards and Reports using the BI tools in SAP HANA to meet the information requirements of the business.
- Leading and managing the planning and implementation of IT Infrastructure projects as well as developing full scale Infrastructure plans.
- Co-ordinating Infrastructure housekeeping and ensuring Infrastructure is always in an audit-ready state.
- Compiling reports and monitoring on the progress of the IT Infrastructure projects and changes to all stakeholders.
- Managing the entire SQL environment at the company, which includes planning, documenting, tuning, testing and continuous availability of the SQL Servers and its related IT Infrastructure and connectivity.
