Job Description

The core mission of a finance business partner is to provide quality strategic financial and analytical insight and advice to support commercial decisions and help deliver financial targets. This role will build strong commercial relationships with key senior stakeholders across the business and support them to drive and monitor business performance, ensure compliance to the governance and accounting framework, make capital allocation decisions and develop investment proposals. This role will be part of the Finance business partnering team providing support to the relevant region/function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively provide leaders with high quality financial analysis, insight and judgement to aid commercial and strategic decision making

  • Interpret, explain, report on and drive performance within the region/function.

  • Provide standardised and simplified reporting as well as ad hoc analysis and insights on specific issues, supported by the Reporting team

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes including planning and budgeting and ensure compliance with appropriate financial standards and best practices

  • Drive optimisation of P&L performance and exert control over spending

  • Ensure effective support for investment decisions by building robust business cases

  • Provide high quality forecasting and commercial insight to improve business predictability
