This position will suit a dynamic and motivated person with a passion for animals.
Key responsibilities:
Manage area by visiting relevant business partners, providing service to an existing client base as well as sourcing additional business partners
Plan, organise and implement brand awareness/loyalty campaigns and communications.
Compile comprehensive and detailed reports
Servicing your area of responsibility in support of the sales team
To maintain a good relationship with existing business partners and their clients and to source and build new relationships with potential business partners
Business partner database to be kept up to date on a monthly basis
Provide clear and concise reporting to track and record outcomes of visits and business initiatives
Proactively monitor competitor strategies and initiatives to report back findings and work on possible countermeasures Requirements:
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Animal lover
Matric certificate as a minimum
Task orientated, results focus and accountable
Minimum of two years’ experience as a Business development consultant
Valid driver’s license and own transport
Self-starter that has the ability to execute action points quickly
Presentation skills
Structured and organised, ability to work independently
A strong sales or call centre background will be advantageous
Computer literacy, good knowledge of MS Office software package
