RESPONSIBILITIES:
Student and academic related administration of the Masters programmes
Maintenance of applicable post graduate student data base
Liaison with relevant support services, students, other academic departments, departmental staff and external resources.
Departmental and office administration
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A three (3) year Diploma in administration or relevant field;
At least two years’ relevant administrative;
Relevant student administration experience at a tertiary institution;
ClickUP (Blackboard) related experience
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES):
Computer proficiency
Organisational abilities
Accuracy
Communication skills
Interpersonal skills
Adherence to due dates
ADDED ADVANTAGES AND PREFERENCES:
A relevant B degree or equivalent degree
At least 5 years’ relevant student administration experience at a tertiary institution
At least 5 years’ experience in the use of web based educational systems

The annual remuneration package will be commensurate with the incumbent’s level of appointment, as determined by UP policy guidelines. UP subscribes to the BESTMED and UMVUZO medical aid schemes and contributes 50% of the applicable monthly premium.
